El Chivito

You'll need a bite as gnarly as Luis Suárez to fit this monstrous sandwich in your mouth. A riff on Jamie Oliver's, this is a staple on menus in cafes across Uruguay.

The sandwich that started it all. El Chivito is the national dish of Uruguay, and from it's imposing stature it's hard to imagine there ever being a challenger to that title.
